Mike Foster is a Designer, Animator, and Art Director with 15+ years directing work that earns attention. He’s led campaigns for The FA, Unilever, Illumination, Strava, and Alo Yoga. For Mike, storytelling is always the starting point. He often draws on Harold Rudolph’s principle of “story appeal” - building work around a moment of curiosity. That usually comes down to finding a “magic element” in the visual, something that makes people stop and wonder what they’re looking at. From there, the rest of the idea has somewhere to land.
